We offer two scholarships: the GIC Full-Term Scholarship and the GIC Mid-Term Scholarship.

Our scholarship provides you the freedom to choose from a diverse range of courses including, but not limited to, Accountancy, Economics, Engineering, Sciences, Mathematics and Liberal Arts. We firmly believe that having people from different disciplines cultivates a diversity of perspectives among our GICians, which is critical for GIC to thrive.

Eligibility

Both our scholarship programmes:

  • Are open to all nationalities – conversion to a Singapore citizenship is not required
  • Look for candidates with strong critical thinking, creativity and leadership qualities
  • Seek individuals who are passionate and excited about a career at GIC

Full-Term ScholarshipApplicable to Pre-Tertiary students who are about to embark on their undergraduate studies.

Mid-Term Scholarship

Applicable to Second Year and Penultimate Year students pursuing their undergraduate studies.

Join us for our 10-week internship programme and if you excel at it, you may be awarded a full sponsorship for your remaining years of undergraduate study, and your Master’s degree.

Scholarship coverage

Both our scholarships include:

  • Tuition and other related fees and allowances
  • Sponsorship of a range of learning opportunities including, but not limited to Exchange Programme / Study Abroad Programme / Summer School / Finance-related seminars / Third language study (subject to approval)
  • Sponsorship of a Master’s degree (subject to approval)
  • Return airfare (for overseas studies); also applicable to Mid-Term Scholars who choose to take an additional 1-Year Master’s degree

Full-Term Scholarship:

  • Full-Term Scholars must return for a GIC Internship during the penultimate year of undergraduate studies

Mid-Term Scholarship:

  • There is no back payment of fees accrued from your earlier undergraduate years. Sponsorship commences only from the time the scholarship is awarded.
  • GIC will sponsor up to 2 years of undergraduate studies, and 1 year of post-graduate studies

    I am mother of 2 boys who are now taking HND last semester in IT which will complete in March at Gusto university in Myanmar. I plan to send abroad to attend their final year or maybe second year. They achieved full distinctions in all subjects each semester. Elder son 21 got IELTS overall band 8.5 and younger one 18 band 7.5.

    I would like to know can they apply for scholarships ?
    Which university they have to attend?
    Probably I did not know about GCI much.

    As 2020 period will be my last schooling academic year I have taken an interest to study abroad as an International undergraduate student. After doing immense research on what resources are at my disposal and to which University I which to enroll with my academic goals, I hereby request GIC for assistance and guidance on how I can get a fully funded scholarship to study in Europe.

    My dream and goal is to achieve my bachelor degrees in Biochemistry & Genetics simultaneously.

    Briefly on my current schooling academic:

    1. Going into my final schooling year as Head Girl at Cambridge College in South Africa.
    2. My education is through the AS level of the British Curriculum.
    3. All subjects are on Higher grade level.
    4. Current average is between 78% – 83%.

    The following objectives and questions are as follows:

    My objective is to receive a fully funded undergraduate scholarship that would help me to achieve my academic goal and success.

    I would like to put forward the following questions:

    1. Although I will be eligible to start University studies in 2021, do you have a semester that starts in February month of each year?.
    2. Can 1 x fully funded scholarship warrant me to complete 2 x bachelor degrees simultaneously?.
    3. Can I apply for university acceptance in the first half year of 2020?
    4. On the University Campus, is student accommodation free along with meals?.
    5. As a student is there a service fee for public transport?
    6. Approximately how long does it take to obtain a international student visa?.
    7. Could you advise on which of your business partners offer fully funded scholarships for international undergraduate from South Africa?.
