Getting self-motivation by Scholarship for Khmer

Failure is the key of success! You failed, you felt down, you lost motivation, but this does not matter; the matter is that how you can motivate yourself to get up and fight for who you are again. Self-motivation is the strongest factor that makes you stay strong and look forward to the future, for you have your own power to stand up all by yourself, and to get motivated.




It’s not easy to have self-motivation, but you can do it if you desire. If self-motivation is gotten easily, there will be no metal illness or suicide case in this world. We will tell you some simple steps of how to have and keep self-motivation.

  1. Being eager: To get motivation, you are sure that you really want it and you really need to walk out of the darkness of being hopeless. You can get anything you want unless you are eager to get it.
  2. Being positive: Motivation and positive thinking have strong relations to one another. Once you have positive thinking, you are able to motivate yourself. Bad things can appear in your life, so that being positive makes you walk through and get over those negative things.
  3. Thinking of what made you hopeless, you can note down those thoughts. Then, you try to let it go by doing your favorite activities or watching motivation videos, which means that you keep yourself busy instead of thinking those negative or hopeless thoughts.
  4. Setting your own goal, you may get you motivated since you are clear in mind that you have something to crave for, and you don’t waste time on useless things anymore.
