[Fully Funded] YSEALI ACADEMIC FELLOWSHIP SPRING 2023

The YSEALI Academic Fellowship is an intensive short-term academic program whose purpose is to provide groups of young leaders with a deeper understanding of the United States and a particular theme, while simultaneously enhancing their leadership skills. The Fellowship will focus on one of three themes: Civic Engagement, Environmental Issues, and Social Entrepreneurship and Economic Development. The five-week programs will consist of a balanced series of seminar discussions, readings, group presentations, and lectures.

ELIGIBILITIES

1. YSEALI members aged 18-25 who are current students or who graduated from university less than five years ago;

2. Between the ages of 18 and 25 at the time of application;

3. A citizen of one of the following countries: Brunei, Burma, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor Leste, or Vietnam;

4. A resident of one of the following countries: Brunei, Burma, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor Leste, or Vietnam;

5. Not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the U.S.;

6. A full-time undergraduate or graduate student or graduated less than five years ago from an institution of higher learning.

    I am first year university student from Burma. I am 18 years old and I really want to join this program.My English level is intermediate but I can do my best if I get this scholarship. I really interested in social entrepreneurship and economic development and I really want to attend this program sir.
