Fully Funded Scholarship MSc in Sustainability at United Nation University
There are scholarships offered to selected candidates. You should be first accepted for enrollment in the UNU-IAS Master of Science in Sustainability program in order to be provided for scholarships.
The program has the intention to give students with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to contribute to solving challenges of sustainability. There are different scholarships listed below. Scholarships provided through Japan Foundation for UNU (JFUNU)
Nationality: candidates from developing countries
Where: United Nation University, Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability
Duration: two years
Level: master degree
Scholarship award: monthly allowance of 120,000 JPY, tuition fees are fully waived for the scholarship recipients
Eligibility:
In order to be considered, you need to:
- Be candidates from developing countries
- Show the need of financial assistance
- Not currently reside in Japan
- Not be willing to pursue a second PhD degree at UNU-IAS
UNU Rector’s Scholarship
Scholarship award: monthly allowance of 130,000 JPY, travel costs, tuition fees are fully waived for the scholarship recipients
Eligibility:
To be considered, you need to:
- Be candidates from developing countries
- Show the need of financial assistance
- Not currently reside in Japan
- Not receive any other scholarships
- Be able to show your strong interest in the broader work of the United Nations.
