Fully Funded Research Scholarship at UNIDROIT Foundation, Rome, Italy
This is a research fellowship program that allow post-graduate students from developing and emerging country to come and do a research with UNIDROIT Foundation. UNIDROIT is an intergovernmental organization on harmonization of private international law; its projects include drafting of international conventions and production of model laws. Nationality: International Candidates
Number of fellowships: 15 to 20 Scholarships
Duration: Around 2 months with a minimum or 6 weeks
Award Coverage: All or part of Living Cost in Rome during the designated period. Applicants are expected to cover their own travel expanse and Health Insurance
Eligible:
- Candidates’ research project must be related to Uniform Law or international Private Law. Priority will be given to the topic that correspond with the organization Program: Find out here: https://www.unidroit.org/about-unidroit/work-programme
- Project should be benefit to the Applicants’ countries’ of Origin. Priority given to Project Relating to Drafting of National Law, those aiming at promoting Study, implementation or adoption of uniform law instruments
- Applicants should be a Post-graduate, academic, civil servant, Judge, practitioner or other with academic credentials.
- A good working knowledge of English or France, Certificate of Language Proficiency
