IST Austria offers fully-funded PhD positions in the natural and mathematical sciences. Students holding a bachelor/master degree in biology, neuroscience, mathematics, computer science, physics, and related areas are encouraged to apply. IST Austria will offer competitive salaries, full health benefits, and subsidized on-campus housing for the first year.
How to apply?
IST Austria processes applications to its PhD program once a year. The application portal will be available in the Fall this year.
If you wish to apply, you will have to create an online account, which will allow you to track your application through its various stages. Applications not made through our online system will not be taken in consideration.

- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Statement of purpose (1-2 pages maximum) that explains your research experience and why you are applying to IST Austria PhD program. Please specify up to three research groups you are interesting in.
- University transcripts and diplomas of all degree programs and all years you have attended and/or are currently enrolled in (in English and in original language).
- Contact information of 3 referees

Please check in details, but this Institute is for Science and Technology, so Marketing is probably not the relevant field for this Scholarship! You may like to search for other scholarships!

Dear Hussain, Geology is quite a specific field, you might like to get in touch with the Institute to ask if is relevant or not. Otherwise, there are other scholarships that are offered for PhD with no restrictions on field of study!
