Eligibility & selection criteria

• Eligibility
  To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
  • be an outstanding enrolled graduate researcher of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences be a medical graduate enrolled in a graduate research degree in the Melbourne Medical School attend education courses conducted by or in association with the Royal College of Surgeons of England OR participate in a clinical attachment to one or more hospitals within the UK recognised for training towards fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England satisfy the Faculty’s entry requirements for PhD
  Selection criteriaEligible applicants are selected on the basis of academic merit, the faculty scholarship score, demonstrated skill in the relevant research area, career aspiration and the terms and conditions of the trust.The selection committee will base its assessment on the application form, academic transcripts, the faculty scholarship score, the student’s project proposal, CV and referee reports.See the full MDHS Graduate Research Trust Scholarships Terms and Conditions.

What are the benefits?

Up to $30,000, shared among multiple applicants. This scholarship will normally pay for an economy return air fare, tuition, and accommodation and living costs for successful applicants.
