Donor-Funded Scholarships at CSIRO in Canberra (Fully Funded)

This scholarship is jointly funded by CSIRO Agriculture and Food and the University of Tasmania. Serradellas (Ornithopus spp.) are promising alternative, annual pasture legumes with an expanding role in southern Australia.  If you are interested in this field, you may check out in detail.

Nationality: domestic (Australian and New Zealand) and international candidates

Where: expected to be based at CSIRO in Canberra

Award: $27.596 (2019 rate) living allowance for 3 years, with a possible 6-month extension. The scholarship also includes $9,166 pa operational funds to support the Ph.D. research project.

Eligibility:

To be eligible, you need to:

  • Be either domestic (Australian and New Zealand) or international candidates;
  • Undertake the degree on a full-time basis;
  • Already have been awarded a First Class Honours degree or hold equivalent qualifications or relevant and substantial research experience in an appropriate sector
  • Be able to demonstrate strong research and analytical skills.
