Call for Research Fellowship Applications at William S. Boyd School of Law, USA
The UNLV International Center for Gaming Regulation (ICGR) is a partnership between UNLV’s International Gaming Institute (IGI) and the William S. Boyd School of Law, building on the unique expertise of these two premier academic institutions. Now, the institution is calling for application to apply for six months.

Fellowship award: up to $20,000 USD (gross)

- The role of technology in modernizing gambling regulation.
- Assessing the techniques and needs for training and educational programs for regulatory agencies.
- Understanding the impact to consumers of gambling products with the aim to improve gambling regulation.
- Evaluating the financial effects of regulation on the gambling industry.
- You are recommended to apply as early as possible. Don’t wait until the deadline comes.
- It is expected that the fellowship position will commence on October 1, 2017 and end on April 1, 2018.
- Any interested and suitable applicants can apply because there is not an affiliation with a public, private, governmental, or non-profit entity.

- Research Plan and Rigor
- Personnel: person(s) applying should describe the appropriate and relevant experience that will serve this project well.
- Budget: All budgets should be reasonable with regard to the proposed research plan and should be set out in as much detail as possible, preferably linking the various phases and deliverables of the project to the budget.
