Call for Applications: YSEALI Camp Theory U 2020 (Fully Funded)
n partnership with United in Diversity, the American Corners and @america, the U.S. Embassy in Jakarta is thrilled to announce the next YSEALI Camp Theory U, a fully funded* leadership and systems thinking regional workshop to be held January 13–16 in Jakarta, open to all YSEALI members (including alumni), with preference given to those who are currently, or will be living (between February and Mar of 2020) in the following locations:
• Jakarta, Indonesia
• Padang, Indonesia
• Yogyakarta, Indonesia
• Vientiane, Laos
• Kota Bharu, Kelantan, Malaysia
• Yangon, Myanmar
• Manila, Philippines
• Dili, Timor-Leste
• Hanoi, Vietnam

This workshop will take you through a 3 1/2 – day learning experience aimed at sharpening your ability to understand and address systemic challenges, build collective capacity within your area of influence, develop authentic relationships. It is a course centered on the awareness-based leadership practices Theory U and The Fifth Discipline by MIT Sloan School senior lecturer Otto Scharmer and Peter Senge, who are inspiring leaders everywhere to co-create innovations toward a more sustainable and equitable future.
All participants will be expected to later collaborate with local American Corners to co-host the regional U.Lab: Leading from the Emerging Future MOOC between February and March of 2020.
