Call for Applications: Visiting Graduate Student Fellowship, University of Victoria, Canada
Deadline for Applications: November 16, 2020
The Centre for Global Studies (CFGS) welcomes applications from qualified UVic faculty and students interested in participating in our dynamic interdisciplinary research community. The CFGS promotes critical citizenship in a complex and rapidly changing global environment including the advancement and understanding of major global issues by civil society, the private sector, governments, and international institutions.
UVic faculty and graduate students are invited to apply who are engaged in similar topics of a global dimension. These topics may include, but are not limited to: global governance, international environmental challenges, social and ecological justice issues, and culture and identity.
Applications from all disciplinary backgrounds are welcome.
These fellowships support students in the research stages of their program. In addition to these funds, the fellowships provide students with a title, an office (possibly shared), an opportunity to provide a public lecture based on their research, opportunities to work on the projects housed in the CFGS, and regular opportunities to meet other students and professors interested in related issues.
