Welcome to Aston Scholarship
Aston University welcomes students from over 120 different countries every year to study with us. When you study at Aston you’ll be part of a vibrant and friendly campus community, located in the centre of Birmingham, the UK’s second largest city.
An automatic scholarship of £3,000 is available for international students applying for undergraduate and foundation courses starting in September 2019.

How do I apply for this scholarship?
No application is necessary. Once you receive an offer to study an undergraduate or foundation course starting in September 2019 you will automatically be eligible for this scholarship.
In order to secure the Welcome to Aston Scholarship, you need to pay your deposit before 18th July 2019.

Which courses are eligible?
Applicants to all undergraduate and foundation courses at Aston University are eligible to receive this scholarship, except for the MBChB in Medicine, International Year Abroad (IYA), BSc in Optometry and Clinical Practice, and BSc Medical Bioscience with EASB.
Can I apply for more than one scholarship?
You can only receive one scholarship but you are able to apply for multiple scholarships. There are a range of scholarships available on the scholarships homepage, such as the Global Excellence scholarship of up to £5,000, and the Vice-Chancellor’s International scholarship of £7,000. If you are successful in being awarded multiple scholarships, the highest value scholarship will be awarded to you. Scholarships will automatically be credited to your student account in the form of a tuition fee reduction.
If you pay your deposit to claim the Welcome to Aston scholarship, and you are subsequently awarded a higher value scholarship, your student account will reflect the highest value scholarship.
