ACADEMIC PROGRAM MANAGER with DMC
Job Descriptions:
Salary range: $700 – $1000
• support the department’s head to achieve the department’s goals and visions;
• manage planning, implementation and assessment of the DMC’s academic programs;
• formulate and evaluate alternative solutions and/or recommendations to achieve the
goals of the programs;
• develop policies or procedures related to students and lecturers;
• initiate, plan and organize DMC projects including training, workshop, or other
media-related projects;
• manage a variety of outreach and PRs activities to promote the DMC and programs;
• serve as the Department’s quality assurance representative;
• represent the department in internal or external events; and
• teach a maximum of 6 hours per week.
Essential Requirements:
• credential(s) in the field of media and communication,
or at least a master’s degree in related field;
• competence in planning and management;
• ability to teach in both formal and in informal settings;
• excellent English language skills; and
• ability to work individually, and in team.
Working Hours and Location:
From 7.30 – 11.30 a.m. – 2:00 – 5.30 p.m., Mondays thru Fridays and Saturdays’ morning, at the Department of Media and Communication, Royal University of Phnom Penh
