PhD in Sustainability Science (2019)

Through this PhD degree, you will get comprehensive, multidisciplinary knowledge of sustainability problems. You will also be provided deeper understanding on the role of environmental sustainability. This is a three years program intending to provide chances for scholars becoming key researchers in the field of sustainability science.

Scholarships provided through Japan Foundation for UNU (JFUNU)

Scholarship award: monthly allowance of 120,000 JPY for living expenses; tuition fees are fully waived for the scholarship recipients

• You need to be candidates from developing countries showing the need of financial assistance.
• You are not currently living in Japan, and not willing to pursue a second master’s degree at UNU-IAS.
