DAAD Scholarships for Graduate School Practices of Literature (GSPoL) at the University of Münster
There are two DAAD scholarships available for overseas students in literary studies to apply for a PhD scholarship starting on October 1, 2019.

Scholarship award: comprises funding for four years
Areas of study: English/American Studies, Arabic/Islamic Studies, Baltic Studies, Book Studies, German Studies, Comparative Studies, Latin Philology/Studies, Neo- and Medieval Latin Studies, Dutch Studies, Scandinavian Studies, Romance Studies (Main Areas: French, Spanish, and Italian Literature), Sinology, Slavonic Studies
Eligibility:
In order to be eligible, you need to:
- Obtain Master’s/Magister/Staatsexamen degree (usually in literary studies) with a minimum grade of “gut”/B
- Possess German language skills and addition foreign language skills
- Receive your master’s degree no more than six years before getting the nomination letter
- Not have stayed in Germany for more than fifteen months prior to the nomination
