Fellowship for Research on Japanese Art in Japan (Fully Funded)

Professionals will be offered support towards their development specializing in the study of Japanese art. The chance will be greatly provided to conduct research and collect information in Japan.

Nationality: citizens of a country having diplomatic relations with Japan

Where: Japan

When: must fall between May 20, 2019 and March 15, 2020

Duration: 21 days to 59 days

Fellowship coverage:

• Round-trip airfare (discount economy-class [most direct and economical route])
• Stipend and other allowances

Target area: Contemporary Japanese art

Eligibility:

In order to apply, you need to:

• Be a citizen of a country that has diplomatic relations with Japan
• Have good health both physically and mentally
• Possess proficient in either Japanese or English
• Be able to stay continuously in Japan for the term of fellowship
