DLR – DAAD – Fellowships in Germany at Remote Sensing Technology Institute (IMF)
This is PhD project aiming to expand the automated analysis of humans and their behavior in airborne images and image sequences with novel computer vision methods. Candidates will get to develop novel crowd understanding algorithms, and other skills. Importantly, you will get advantageous skill with deep learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, Theano, Caffe, so on and so forth

Area of research: Human crowd analysis in aerial image sequences using deep learning techniques
Eligibility:
To get a chance for the fellowship, you shall:
- Obtain a Master’s or Engineering Degree in Computer Science, Visual Computing, or related fields
- Possess strong mathematic background and real programming skills
- Have experiences in computer vision, graphic (if applicable)
- Have strong commitment and potential
- Hold effective communication skills
- Possess strong English language
