Victoria Doctoral Scholarships in New Zealand
This is a doctorate scholarship which will be awarding to students with academic merit. To encourage postgraduate research, Victoria offers scholarship to those about to begin their doctoral studies to both domestic and international students. Please find further information here:
Where: Faculty of Graduate Research, Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand
Nationality: This scholarship is for both New Zealander and International Students
Degree Program: Doctorate Study of any discipline provided by the University.
Eligible:
- If you are applying for half-time study, you are not eligible for this scholarships.
- Victoria University academic staff are also not eligible for Victoria University scholarship.
- If you are intend to hold a full Victoria scholarship, you are limited to a maximum of 600 hours of employment per year, preferably in an area related to your research
- Must have great academic record.
- Must have high potential in research profession.

However, to apply for this scholarship Program, the PhD candidates do not need to submit a separate application for a Victoria Doctoral Scholarship. All you have to do is to apply for an admission to the University. You will be automatically consider for the scholarship if you are accepted to the Program.
