The University of the Sunshine Coast Scholarships for International Student 2023
The scholarships listed below are specifically for international students. Students should also check with their home institution and government to find out if other scholarship options are available to them.
2023 Scholarships
International Student Scholarship
The International Student Scholarship is available to international students commencing in 2023 across all USC Queensland campuses. This 15% tuition fee reduction applies to the officially scheduled and published tuition fees for the relevant program and study period. English Excellence Scholarship
The English Excellence Scholarship is awarded to commencing international students who have achieved higher than required results in a recognised English language proficiency test. This 20% tuition fee reduction applies to the officially scheduled and published tuition fees for the relevant program and study period. 2022 Scholarships
Start Online & Save (SOS) Scholarship
The Start Online & Save (SOS) Scholarship allows students to initially commence their studies online with a 50% tuition fee reduction until the end of 2022, provided they remain outside Australia. The 50% tuition fee reduction will apply to the officially scheduled and published tuition fees for the relevant program and study period.

International Student Outlook (ISO) Scholarship
The International Student Outlook (ISO) Scholarship is available to international students commencing in 2022 across all USC Queensland campuses. The 15% tuition fee reduction will apply to the officially scheduled and published tuition fees for the relevant program and study period. Australia Awards
The Australia Awards aim to promote knowledge, education links, and enduring ties between Australia and our neighbours through Australia’s extensive scholarship programs. The program brings together scholarships offered by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFAT), the Department of Education and the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR). Northcote Graduate Scholarship
The Northcote Graduate Scholarship scheme is administered by the Britain-Australia Society on behalf of the Northcote Trust. Scholarships are to enable students normally resident in the United Kingdom to undertake a higher degree at an Australian University. There are no limitations to the field of study, however preference is given to applications where there is a clear reason for study to be undertaken in Australia. Malaysia Australia Colombo Plan Commemoration (MACC) Scholarships
The MACC Scholarship is for Malaysian students only where priority is given to first year students. For more information about the scholarship and how to apply, visit EMAAC’s website.
Other scholarships
There are other scholarships available from within UniSC, as well as from external providers. Individual Schools may also offer prizes and awards to high achieving students. Some of these scholarships, prizes and awards may be available to Australian citizens and permanent residents only.
