The course tuition fee includes training and access to the virtual classroom, the use of the study and communication tools, and interactive materials. Third-party materials, such as textbooks, are not included, although students have access to special offers through Marconi.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Marconi International University’s main focus is to bring students together from all over the world, regardless of race, religion, and political orientation. Every year, MIU’s scholarship program includes many scholarships dedicated to different categories of students who qualify and comply with all the requirements. Scholarship eligibility is based on a combination of criteria that ensures the potential of each applicant. Scholarship preferences will be aimed at both domestic and international applicants, whether or not they possess a non-immigrant visa.

A student may apply, if applicable, for only one of the available scholarships listed below and are limited by number and semester. All applications are subject to a formal review, evaluation, and decision by the scholarship committee.

OAS SCHOLARSHIPS

You can now apply for The Organization of American States (OAS) Academic Scholarship Program for degrees studied at Marconi International University. The program grants undergraduate, graduate, and master’s scholarships every year to successful applicants pertaining to the 35 independent states of the Americas for the pursuit of tertiary education studies.

HISPANIC AND CARIBBEAN UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

MIU provides scholarships of up to 50% of tuition cost for applicants who have successfully graduated from a recognized higher education institution (high school or university) in Latin America or the Caribbean and wish to continue their studies online with Marconi International University. To apply for this scholarship, students must provide an original or certified sealed copy of their transcripts, obtained from the Latin American or Caribbean institution. The transcripts should be accompanied by an official credential evaluation completed and submitted to the university by a recognized evaluation service. Students must also indicate the scholarship they are applying for and their intended program of study. The MIU scholarship committee reviews every application and evaluates its compliance with the scholarship criteria.

AFRICAN, ASIAN, AND MIDDLE EASTERN UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

MIU pro­vides scholarships of up to 50% of tuition cost for ap­pli­cants who have suc­cess­fully grad­u­ated from a rec­og­nized higher ed­u­ca­tion in­sti­tu­tion (high school or uni­ver­sity) in Africa, Asia, or the Mid­dle East and wish to con­tinue their stud­ies online with Mar­coni In­ter­na­tional Uni­ver­sity. To apply for this schol­ar­ship, stu­dents must pro­vide an orig­i­nal or cer­ti­fied sealed copy of their tran­scripts ob­tained from the African, Asian, or Mid­dle Eastern in­sti­tu­tion. The tran­scripts should be ac­com­pa­nied by an of­fi­cial cre­den­tial eval­u­a­tion com­pleted and sub­mit­ted to the uni­ver­sity by a rec­og­nized eval­u­a­tion ser­vice. Stu­dents must also  in­di­cate the schol­ar­ship they are ap­ply­ing for and their intended pro­gram of study. The MIU schol­ar­ship com­mit­tee re­view­s every ap­pli­ca­tion and eval­u­ates its com­pli­ance with the schol­ar­ship cri­te­ria.

EUROPEAN UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

MIU pro­vides scholarships of up to 30% of tuition cost for ap­pli­cants who have suc­cess­fully grad­u­ated from a rec­og­nized higher ed­u­ca­tion in­sti­tu­tion (high school or uni­ver­sity) in Eu­rope and wish to con­tinue their stud­ies online with Mar­coni In­ter­na­tional Uni­ver­sity. To apply for this schol­ar­ship, stu­dents must pro­vide an orig­i­nal or cer­ti­fied sealed copy of their tran­script ob­tained from the Eu­ro­pean in­sti­tu­tion. The tran­script should be ac­com­pa­nied by an of­fi­cial cre­den­tial eval­u­a­tion com­pleted and sub­mit­ted to the uni­ver­sity by a rec­og­nized eval­u­a­tion ser­vice. Stu­dents must also in­di­cate the schol­ar­ship they are ap­ply­ing for and their intended pro­gram of study. The MIU schol­ar­ship com­mit­tee re­view­s every ap­pli­ca­tion and eval­u­ates its com­pli­ance with the schol­ar­ship cri­te­ria.

MILITARY AND VETERANS SCHOLARSHIP

MIU pro­vides an award of 30% of the cost of tu­ition for both the on­line and on-cam­pus pro­grams for the fol­low­ing cat­e­gories of mil­i­tary and vet­er­an stu­dents:

  • Ac­tive Duty
  • Re­serve Mil­i­tary Vet­er­ans
  • Spouse/De­pen­dent of Ac­tive Duty or Re­serve

To re­ceive this schol­ar­ship, the ac­tive duty or re­serve ser­vice mem­ber, vet­eran, or spouse/de­pen­dent of ac­tive duty or re­serve ser­vice mem­ber will have to com­plete the MIU schol­ar­ship ap­pli­ca­tion and show proof of ser­vice. The MIU schol­ar­ship com­mit­tee re­view­s every ap­pli­ca­tion and eval­u­ates its com­pli­ance with the schol­ar­ship cri­te­ria.

FLORIDA RESIDENT ADULT AND PROFESSIONAL STUDENTS

MIU rec­og­nizes that tu­ition cost is a major fac­tor for adult stu­dents when they make the de­ci­sion to re­turn to col­lege and fin­ish their de­gree. For this rea­son, a scholarship of up to 50% of the cost of tu­ition is pro­vided for Florida res­i­dent adult stu­dents aged 28-55 who wish to en­roll in either an online or on-campus grad­u­ate or post­grad­u­ate pro­gram. To apply for this schol­ar­ship, stu­dents must send proof of cit­i­zen­ship or res­i­dency in Florida (US pass­port, Florida dri­ver’s li­cense or ID) and their re­sume show­ing a min­i­mum of 2 years of pro­fes­sional ex­pe­ri­ence. The MIU schol­ar­ship com­mit­tee re­view­s every ap­pli­ca­tion and eval­u­ates com­pli­ance with the schol­ar­ship cri­te­ria.

MERIT-BASED UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

MIU of­fers merit-based schol­ar­ships of 20% of the tuition cost for on­line or on-cam­pus pro­grams to do­mes­tic and in­ter­na­tional stu­dents who ob­tained a min­i­mum GPA of 2.9 in their pre­vi­ous stud­ies (high school, bach­e­lor’s, or mas­ter’s). This can be proved through the de­liv­ery of an orig­i­nal or cer­ti­fied sealed copy of tran­scripts. If the de­gree was ob­tained from an in­sti­tu­tion out­side of the US, the tran­scripts should be ac­com­pa­nied by an of­fi­cial cre­den­tial eval­u­a­tion com­pleted and sub­mit­ted to the uni­ver­sity by a rec­og­nized eval­u­a­tion ser­vice. To main­tain the schol­ar­ship if awarded, stu­dents must re­main en­rolled as a full-time stu­dent dur­ing the spring and fall se­mes­ters and obtain a min­i­mum GPA of 2.9.

EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIPS

MIU offers 300 excellence scholarships a year, for up to 55% of the cost of tuition, towards online programs delivered in Spanish or English, to provide educational opportunities to international students in the Americas who demonstrate high potential.

To be eligible, candidates need to write an essay of 300 words explaining their motivation to enroll at Marconi and why are they considered a high potential candidate along with their updated resume/CV. Marconi’s scholarship committee will evaluate the request, communicating the results to the candidates on a weekly basis.
