De Montfort University Postgraduate Taught Scholarship for Non-EU Students
We are pleased to announce a new international postgraduate taught scholarship for September 2020 and January 2021 study.
This will allow students to study in a welcoming and inclusive environment to inspire and enhance continued activism during and after study, promoting equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) worldwide.
Our full postgraduate scholarships will offer a £4,000 discount towards the total value of the course fee and will be awarded to 12 outstanding students domiciled outside of the UK and European Union.
Successful applicants will submit documented evidence in the form of a report to the EDI team at DMU during mid points in their study to demonstrate their ongoing commitment to advancing EDI at DMU.
The closing date to apply for these scholarships is midnight on Friday 31 July 2020 for the September 2020 intake. For students arriving in January 2021, the closing date for the application form is Friday 27 November 2020. A selection committee will meet to select the recipients and all candidates will be notified of the outcome.
Eligibility criteria
To qualify for the scholarship, you must:
- Hold an offer of admission from De Montfort University for a full time, postgraduate taught course starting September 2020.
- Successfully complete any English Language requirements
- Be domiciled outside the UK, European Union or Schengen Area.
- Complete the online application form outlining how student will further EDI at DMU during their studies.
