Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship

Awards from £2,000 are available to international students across a wide range of subject areas.

Qualifying recipients of the scholarship will receive the award in the form of a tuition fee discount. No cash alternative is available and the award cannot be used in place of any required deposit.

The Scholarship is for full-time students who will be based on the Cardiff campus and start their studies in September 2019. The award cannot be used for any other year of entry.

Only self-funding international students are eligible and you must be confirmed as an overseas student for fee paying purposes. The scholarship is not open to students who are in receipt of funding from external bodies such as local Government, charities or private organisations.

Undergraduate

International applicants holding offers for selected undergraduate programmeswill automatically be considered for the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship. You do not need to submit a separate application for an award.

If you meet, or exceed, the conditions stated in your UCAS offer, or, if you are holding an unconditional offer, you will automatically be awarded the scholarship as a tuition fee discount. This is subject to you meeting our eligibility criteria as set out in the terms and conditions.

Postgraduate taught

International applicants holding offers for selected postgraduate programmeswill automatically be considered for the Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship. This means you do not need to submit a separate application for an award.

To be awarded a Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship you must meet, or exceed, the conditions of your offer. Applicants holding unconditional offers will automatically be awarded the scholarship, which will be in the form of a tuition fee discount. This is subject to you meeting our eligibility criteria as set out in the terms and conditions.
