Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship Program for 2020 (Fully Funded)

Scholarship of ADB and Japan is provided in order to give an opportunity for high potential citizens in ADB’s developing member countries to undertake postgraduate studies in economics, management, science and technology, and other development-related fields at participating academic institutions in the Asia-Pacific region.

Nationality: ADB’s developing countries (Cambodia is one of eligible countries)

Where: University of Auckland, New Zealand

Fields of study:

  • Master of Public Health
  • Master of Science (Environmental Science)
  • Master of Arts (Development Studies)
  • Master of International Business
  • Master program in Engineering

Scholarship award:

  • Tuition fees at the University of Auckland.
  • Airfare from the scholar’s home country to Auckland, New Zealand.
  • The basic cost of living in Auckland.
  • Health and medical insurance in New Zealand.
  • Airfare from Auckland, New Zealand, to the scholar’s home country at the conclusion of his or her course of study.
  • For scholars engaged in research, a special grant may be available for thesis preparation.

Eligibility:

To be qualified, you need to:

  • Have school admission in advanced.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent with a superior academic record.
  • Have at least two years of full-time professional work experience (acquired after a university degree) at the time of application.
  • Have good English communication skill.
  • Be under 35 years old at the time of application.
  • Be in good health.
  • Agree to return to your home country after completing the program.

  3. What if you don’t have IELTS/TOEFL results but you did all of your courses in English Language? Some of us in Africa do not have accessed to the IELTS/TOEFL examination, but we can do better than you expect.

    I plea that you have clemency on us so that we take advantage of this opportunity. In fact, this IELTS/TOEFL has denial us to take advantage of European and USA international scholarships. Now this one again. So please relax this criterion.
