2020-2021 MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS, LEE UNIVERSITY, USA
The Dean’s Scholarship is awarded to any student who has graduated from an approved high school with a 24-27 composite score on the ACT or 1160-1300 total score on the SAT. This scholarship award is $5,000 per year for a total of $20,000 over four years or eight semesters. A 3.0 cumulative GPA and a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester are required to maintain eligibility. Eligibility will be reviewed at the beginning of each academic year. This award is contingent upon the student not having attended another college/university following high school graduation. Dean’s scholarships are awarded by the Office of Admissions.
The Presidential Scholarship is awarded to any student who has graduated from an approved high school with a 28-36 composite score on the ACT or 1310-1600 total score on the SAT. This scholarship award is $7,500 per year for a total of $30,000 over four years or eight semesters. A 3.0 cumulative GPA and a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester are required to maintain eligibility. Eligibility will be reviewed at the beginning of each academic year. This award is contingent upon the student not having attended another college/university following high school graduation. Presidential scholarships are awarded by the Office of Admissions.
The Centennial Scholarship is a competitive award given to a select number of Presidential Scholars. On average, this scholarship award is an additional $5,000 per year in addition to the Presidential Scholarship. Recipients are chosen based on their demonstration of academic achievement and dedication to excellence both inside and outside of the classroom. A 3.0 cumulative GPA and a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester are required to maintain eligibility. Eligibility will be reviewed at the beginning of each academic year. This award is contingent upon the student not having attended another college/university following high school graduation. This scholarship is awarded by the Office of Admissions and applications must be received by February 1.
These new awards apply only to students who enroll in or after the 2020-2021 academic year.
