YORK University Scholarship in Canada for International Students

How to apply:

You do not need an offer of admission to submit the international scholarship and awards application.
You need to complete application form provided in the official webpage.

Deadline: You must apply no later than March 15. (Some fields have different deadlines, you may need to check out more below.)

If you are successful for the scholarship, you will be notified through email.

Scholarship award: award will be provided differently according to the subject you are applying for. There is a list that tells you about awards.

York University Automatic Entrance Scholarships

BASED ON FINAL ADMISSION AVERAGE:

95%+ (42-45 IB diploma points) — $3,500 (renewable for 3 additional years)*
90-94.9% (36-41 IB diploma points) — $2,000
85-89.9% (33-35 IB diploma points) — $1,000
80-84.9% (30-32 IB diploma points) — $500

Only international applicants studying the Canadian curriculum at a secondary school within or outside of Canada are eligible for this award.

$500 – $14,000

Additional $500 — Student Life Award
Students who qualify for one of the scholarships above and accept their offer of admission by the date indicated in the offer letter will also qualify for the Student Life Award valued at $500 (one time only for all). This unique award is designed to help students with the cost of books, eating on campus, etc. and will be applied to their YU Card.

Leadership and demonstrated skills

International Entrance Scholarship ($35,000 x 4 years)

You will be considered if you have:

Highest academic average
Demonstrated leadership skill
Letters of recommendation
To renew – maintain a high academic standing (7.80 on a 9-point York scale) in each academic year at York.
By submitting this application, you will also be considered for the other available international scholarships requiring an application.
