When you are shortlisted for the interview round, you are on another step. Getting in the interview stage means you can almost make it. Interview is an important step which you can show yourself to the selection committee, and it is the round that they consider whether or not to provide you the scholarship. • Why should you be selected?

This is time that you can show your commitment, potential, and motivation. Stating what makes you special from the other candidates is a good idea to answer this question well.

• Why do you deserve this scholarship?

You should tell them how this scholarship can make you thrive, and how it can help your home country after your graduation. So, in this case, it is important to raise your ideas about present and future. Therefore, your answer can show that you have clear goal in your mind. Scholarships are provided not only to those who can express themselves perfectly, but also to those who have clear plans and mindsets.

• What do you want to accomplish in your life?

Do not give selfish response! Giving committee the response how your accomplishments can give positive impacts to your society. At this point, you have to think critically and be flexible, so that you are able to explain them what your accomplishments are in detail.

• What are your strength and weakness?

Before you could answer this question well, you should understand yourself clearly. For the strength, not only do you raise your strong points, but also you state how you can use your strength during the period of getting scholarship abroad. On the other hand, by telling the committee you are poor at this or that is not the answer of future scholarship holder. You should say your weak points and your solutions to deal with it. By doing so, the committee could acknowledge that you know yourself and you are strong enough to face any circumstance.
