Scholarship at National Pingtung University of Science and Technology for all Levels of Study

Nationality: Anyone from any country can apply for this scholarship

Degree: Bachelor, Master, and PhD

Scholarship award:

• Bachelor: Free tuition fee or free accommodations;
• Master & PhD: Full scholarship (tuition fee-waived, maximum 12 credits fee-waived/semester, on-campus dormitory fee-waived, with monthly stipend) or partial scholarship (tuition fee-waived, maximum 12 credits fee-waived/semester, on-campus dormitory fee-waived, without monthly stipend)

Important information you need to:

Bachelor: Sophomore, Junior and Senior; Average grades 75%/year or above

Master: Year 1 to 2; Average grades 80%/year or above; TOEFL paper 520 points or above

PhD.: Year 1 to 3 or 4; Average grades 80%/year or above; TOEFL paper 520 points or above




What do you need to apply?

1. Application form (could be downloaded from: http://oia.npust.edu.tw/en/International_scholarship)
2. Study plan (at least 300 words)
3. Research proposal (master or doctoral program’s applicant only) (optional)
4. Diploma (authenticated by Taiwan Embassy/Taipei Economic and Cultural Office or university)
5. Transcript (authenticated by Taiwan Embassy/ Taipei Economic and Cultural Office or university)
6. Two recommendation letters (by different writers, free format)
7. Financial statement (at least $3,000USD)
8. English certificate (ex. TOEFL paper/TOEFL CBT/TOEFL IBT/IELTS/TOEIC)
9. Mandarin certificate

(The certificate is required when applying for bachelor’s program of other colleges except international college. ex. TOCFL or HSK.)
