The Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP) Fellowship Program
The Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP) invites you to join the Fellowship Program. The program is an opportunity that allows you to get experiences and to know people from different countries around the world. Stepping out of your zone to Korea, you will have a very great time with the fellowship program.
Duration: 3 – 6 months
Location: you will live in Daejeon and work in Sejong.
What will you get?
- A round-trip airfare economy class and accommodation
- A lump-sum payment of KRW 2,500,000 will be paid to scholars upon arrival at KIEP
- The research support grant of KRW 4,500,000 paid in two installments (50% pre-paid and 50%
- Paid upon publication approval)
Important information:
- You are interested in research in the area studies, development policy, and international economic policy very welcomed to apply.
- You have a doctoral degree and extensive research experience.
- You have high English language ability.
- You are not citizen of Korea.

- A research proposal (maximum 1,800 words)
Application Deadline:
Applications are accepted all year round. A committee review is conducted biannually in June and December.
