Number of awards: six

Harvard University Center for the Environment is looking for potential candidates to join the fellow program. Two years of working with Harvard faculty members in any school or department has purpose of creating new knowledge and strengthening connections.

Program award:

  • Salary of $64,000 per year including health insurance
  • Up to $2,500 reimbursement for travel expenses, and a $2,500 allowance for travel and other professional expenses.

You need to know some information before applying:

  • Candidates’ prior academic and professional success and his or her potential contribution to scholarship or practice
  • Research project on scholarship and environmental problems
  • No candidate should propose to work extensively with his or her thesis advisor.
  • Research project is not a must for the fellowship as long candidates have interests in a single discipline.

Do apply no later than 5pm on January 18, 2017.




Faculty members not eligible to host a 2017 fellow are those hosting 2016 fellows: Alán Aspuru-Guzik, David Jones, Zhiming Kuang, Ian Miller, Daniel Nocera, and Pamela Silver.
