Fully Funded PhD Scholarships at the Graduate School ‘Practices of Literature’ in Germany

Two places are offered for PhD scholarship at the Graduate School ‘Practices of Literature’ at the Westfälische Wilhelms-University in Münster, Germany. Noticeably, this program is worked together with the Graduate School Scholarship Program in short GSSP of the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service).

Important information:

  • Three steps you need to follow:
  1. Submit the application to the GS PoL
  2. Personal interview and a final nomination to the DAAD
  3. the standard application procedure at the DAAD
  • You are recommended to have German language skills because courses will be taken in German
  • You have the last final exam in the past six years until the time you are applying for this scholarship.
  • You have not lived in Germany for more than a year and three months.

What do you need to submit?

  1. A letter of motivation explaining the application at the GS PoL
  2. Curriculum vitae (without photograph)
  3. Proof that the applicant has completed a qualifying course of studies
  4. Proof of German language skills
  5. A detailed project proposal of the planned dissertation of about 10 pages in length
  6. Two letters of reference. The application for a scholarship follows a three-step procedure:
